Ive been using this app for years, love it!

Future Plc makes terrible magazine app. It is almost impossible to get a subscription from them that will work on more than one device (iPhone and iPad). They seem to make you purchase the magazines more than once if you want to read it on your iPhone and iPad. You are better off subscribing to their pdf format...at least with that you can read on a PC and multiple devices.

A good way for the average layman to get information.

Ive tried and subscribed to many Newsstand mags and this is the first and only one that crashes and hangs and freezes! Absolutely POS. And absolutely ridiculous. The mag itself is good thats why I subscribed.

NOT optimized for iPhone 6 Plus. NOT everything Apple.

Im really enjoying the informative articles and special edition issues. Ive never had any technical issues.

The app is fine, but I am looking for an app that adds value. Showing same pages as print does not use strengths of online connections.

I absolutely love it! I also get the print edition as well. Cant wait to get my next issue.

App is very slow to download, I have high speed, but slow, app interface is clunky feeling, not my favorite

The app is buggy as it does not always respond to the input to bring up the bottom content bar. The app crashes frequently and wont follow inputs. I have the iPad Air with the latest IOS. Disappointing for a technology magazine

Outstanding digital format.

MacLife is one of my first magazine (apps?) experiences within Newsstand. Its working well generally. I response time is good. New issue load time is long - not something to do just before leaving the house or a Starbucks. In-magazine navigation is intuitive for the most part, with helpful cues (and the initial help screen is handy), but sometimes there is a sense of too many different ways to reveal another page or section. Maybe I need to get some practice! In the end I can read the content, share it and thats most important.

Im a subscriber for the content. I love the magazine, and its a great value for the price. But, the magazine issues take forever to download. I subscribe to several digital magazines - 4 newsstand, one Zinio, and one standalone - and in each one I can be reading new issues in under a minute. This app is 5 to 10 minutes for a new issue (Im not exaggerating) and then the app hounds me to download updates to a magazine issue. Once a magazine is published - I really dont want an update - put it in the next issue. The new wrinkle in the app - my issue wont download. The issue download button shows "queued" and wont download. So, I checked help. I know Im not the only one with this problem - its in the list. I followed the list of things to try when this happens. I got to the last item - uninstall then reinstall the app. This worked - sort of. My iPad Air is set to sleep after 5 minutes. This wasnt long enough - the issue made it to 60% (last I looked) . When I picked the iPad up and hit the home key, the app opened to reveal a gray "queued" button again and no new issue. I love the mag - but if I cant download the issues - then this app is worthless.

Im a new Mac user and I look forward to every issue. The reviews are so helpful and easy to understand. I just cant get enough. The special editions are worth every penny. Ive had no problems with the app, the only thing is that I have to read the magazine in the portrait view but its not much of a bother. You can get use to it.

Pay for a subscription and get no ability to download the current issue. I regret the purchase and want a refund. No customer service phone number. Thieves.

Im updating and changing my rating from one to three stars. I enjoy the content, but The process for retrieving my previously purchased June 2015 issue was very confusing. Read below: I purchased the June 2015 issue on my iPhone with no problems. When I try to download it on my iPad it ask "Do I want to purchase one August 2015 for $4.99?" So my options are to BUY the August 2015 or cancel. What happened to the June 2015 issue that I purchased?!? I finally went ahead and clicked buy and the app informed me that I already bought the issue and can download it for free. So now I have the issue on my iPad, but still found the whole process confusing.
